Learn more about the upcoming competitions in the Fall 2026 season.
ONLINE competitions must have videos uploaded and submitted by the date listed. These videos will typically be filmed during regular lesson time.
IN PERSON competitions are held at another venue on the date listed. You will need to go to the venue on that date for your child to perform.
All competitions and festivals have an extra fee to pay for venue, judges, and prizes. These fees are your responsibility. Upon registration, you will get more information about how to pay the fee directly to the organization running the performance.
October 17th
NCYT Music Festival
A local festival run by NCYT. This is the online version of the same festival. Submitting online typically results in better judge comments, but does not give live performance experience.
Cost: $75

October 24th
NCYT Music Festival
A local festival run by NCYT. This is a great entry-level performance to build confidence in performing live.
Cost: $75

October 25th
SFIIMC
An International competition run by BAMA. This competition is online-only. Judges award points to each competitor, which decides competitor placement.
Cost: $70-$90 dependent on age
Prize: 1st and 2nd place winners posted on facebook page
Nov 14th
NCYT Online Music Competition
A local competition run by NCYT. Submitting online typically results in better judge comments, but does not give the same experience as an in-person performance.

NCYT Music Competition
A local competition run by NCYT. This is a great entry level competition to test memorization under the pressure of live performance.

Nov 22nd
ELITE International Music Competition
An international competition held through ELITE. This is a live audition to a single judge. The judge decides whether the competitor will move on to a winner's recital in Carnegie Hall. You will get to schedule this recital for a convenient time the following year.
Cost: $100

January 20th
American Protege
An international competition held through American Protege. This is an online audition. If accepted, the performer will be invited to play at Carnegie Hall in New York
Cost: $200
Prize: chance to play at Carnegie Hall in New York
January 25th
SFIIMC
An International competition run by BAMA. This competition is online-only. Judges award points to each competitor, which decides competitor placement.
